Elle Bartnik
Memberships

Elle us our AMSG committee member in charge of membership. She's into DIY and has always wanted to learn proper woodworking skills, but has never had the right tools or guidance before. Elle made the move to Bright from Melbourne in 2021. Initially attracted by the proximity to the ski fields and hiking trails, she's since discovered she also enjoys mountain biking, and she can sometimes be convinced to go for a trail run - if the run ends at the brewery.

Melissa Worth
Secretary & Events

Mel is a Secondary HPE and leading teacher at the local Bright P-12 College. She made the move from Melbourne at the start of 2019 (best decision ever) and is so grateful to be part of an inclusive community in beautiful surroundings with so many opportunities. Outside school hours she might be exploring the trails, down at the local Pickleball courts or having a dip in a local swimming hole.

Mel has been part of AMSG since the first induction and is constantly inspired by the skills on display, the creativity and the sense of connectedness in such a supportive group. She’s also excited to be a part of the direction of AMSG in supporting many aspects of health and wellbeing in our community.

Sam Black
Events & Marketing

Sam is a freelance graphic designer who made the move from Sydney in 2022. From apartment living to having a garden in beautiful Bright, she now loves growing her own veg and hanging out with her chooks.

She joined the skills group as a way to get out in the community, become a little more confident on the tools and participate in anything that involves the tasting of wine.

Mary, black and white photo, smiling with short hair.

Mary Bird
Socials

Mary is looking after social media for the Alpine Multi Skill Group. Her career has mostly been in education and human resources. After working in ski resorts since 2014, she and her partner relocated to Porepunkah in 2019. Mary joined the AMSG to learn and develop new skills and form community connections. She loves good food, good wine and good company and meeting new people.
